INGREDIENTS YOU NEED FOR BLUEBERRIES AND CREAM

  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Blueberries

All you will need for this simple blueberry recipe is, blueberries fresh or frozen, white sugar, and heavy whipping cream.

As many of the ingredients that can be obtained locally the better. I used frozen blueberries for this recipe.

These blueberries were harvested off of my Aunt and Uncles bushes and they produce an absolute abundance of berries! If you don’t grow blueberries you should, because blueberries are fun, and fun is good.

HOW TO MAKE BLUEBERRIES N’ CREAM

Frozen blueberries

Place your blueberries in a bowl, I usually share a bowl with my wife, so I double it up.

Its just as simple as putting as many berries in the bowl as you are willing to eat!

Sprinkle your blueberries with sugar. Coat them with enough to make them sweet, but not too sweet!

Its really hard to mess up this easy blueberry recipe, just adjust the ingredients to your liking.

Heck, some days, you may feel like you don’t want much sugar at all. Some days you may want to sneak in a little extra sugar. Up to you.

You have the option of letting your blueberries thaw a little bit before you add the cream.

If you want to do this, just let it set out on the counter for a little while. Wait for the berries to get soft to bite in to. Whichever texture you like best.

Make sure you let it set with sugar on it, because the sugar will pull some moisture out of the berries and enable them to thaw a little faster and to macerate the blueberries slightly. This adds some good color and presentation to final product.

Pour some delicious and decadent heavy whipping cream into your berries and sugar. I usually like to make the level of cream, just below my level of blueberries.

Again, this does not have to be perfect. If you like much cream, add much cream. If you dont like much cream, don’t add much.

Here is what it may look like. Heavy whipping cream has a very high freezing temperature. So if your blueberries and fresh out of the freezer, the cream will coat all of your berries in frozen cream.

You will just have to wait until it is all thawed to your liking, or if you started with fresh, or thawed blueberries, then this meal is ready to go!

Here you can see all of the components of the blueberry recipe are here and brewing together to make something magical! Frozen Cream coating the blueberries is a fun treat if you have never had it.

This dish will get better as you fine tune your favorite amounts of the ingredients. This recipes is extremely easy.
